 I’m Kelly Temeyer and I own Caring Transitions of Metro Milwaukee with my husband, Doug. After assisting a family friend clear out his aunt’s home in Milwaukee while he was living in California, we understand the amount of time and stress associated with getting the job done. Only later did we learn about Caring Transitions and as we started doing our research, we realized that Caring Transitions was a perfect fit for us, people like our family friend, and for this community.

 Caring Transitions’ services are perfect for seniors moving in with family or into a safer living situation as well as busy families clearing out the home of a loved one who has moved into assisted care or passed. All of Caring Transitions’ services are customizable, so clients only pay for the services they need – whether that means managing the entire move and estate-clearing or just getting someone resettled into their new place.

 As Wauwatosa residents, we wanted to start a business doing something that could make a tangible difference for its residents and our neighbors. We love that Caring Transitions is local and hands on and that we can provide a practical solution for the people in our community. We were both close to our grandparents and we witnessed them transition throughout their lives – we understand what seniors and families are going through.
