Shipping Terms and Conditions
The Auction Company will provide in-house shipping for most items in this auction, with exclusions noted in individual item descriptions. Shipping is available exclusively through USPS Priority 1-3 Day service or UPS Ground; no other carriers are available to the Auction Company at this time, nor are pre-paid shipping labels accepted. All shipments incur actual postage costs plus a $20 handling fee per package and require signature confirmation for delivery unless otherwise requested by the Customer. Customers will receive automated email notifications from XPSshipper when shipping labels are generated, with packages typically departing our facility within 2-3 business days thereafter. All shipping addresses and contact information must be accurate at the time the Customer registers for the Auction, as this data will be used for all shipping and communication purposes; Customers are responsible for notifying the Company of any corrections before shipping commences. Packages will be sent to the address listed on the invoice unless alternative arrangements are requested. Customers must specify their desire for carrier insurance before labeling occurs. Payment for shipping and handling charges will be processed using the Customer's card on file, or via Square invoice if the primary payment method is declined; packages will not ship until all charges are paid in full. Packing operations begin Tuesday, September 30, 2025. No expedited processing is available. ONLINE PERSONAL PROPERTY AUCTION TERMS Bidding and Sale Terms Firearms Information: The Auction Company holds a Federal Firearms License (FFL) and will conduct the required NICS background check for all firearm transfers in compliance with state and federal laws. There is no charge for the background check or transfer, and valid photo identification is required. Buyers must be 18 years or older to purchase rifles or shotguns, with some restrictions based on state of residency. Handguns are restricted to buyers who are 21 years or older and residents of West Virginia. Federal law requires a mandatory 10-day waiting period for rifle and shotgun purchases by buyers ages 18-20, which the Auction Company cannot waive or expedite. All bids are final and binding. Once bidding closes on a lot, bids cannot be deleted or removed. Review your bids carefully before submitting. Outbid notifications are courtesy only—we are not responsible for errors or timing issues with these notices. The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse off-increment bids. Lot Closing Process: Lots begin closing at the published time with staggered closings (typically 1-3 lots every 1-3 minutes). Any bid placed in the final 60 seconds extends bidding. Directions: Take Exit 125 (Saltwell Road/Shinnston Exit) from I-79. If traveling from the north (southbound on I-79), turn right off the exit ramp onto WV-131/Benedum Drive. If traveling from the south (northbound on I-79), turn left off the exit ramp onto WV-131/Benedum Drive. Travel northwest on Benedum Drive for approximately 1.5 miles, passing the BFS & Exxon stations on your right. Your destination at 5508 Benedum Drive will be on the right side of the road. Watch for Auction signs.
Firearms Information: Firearms will be transferred to the buyer on-site on the day of the auction via background checks at no additional charge. All State and Federal laws apply. Additional pick up times are available for firearms during the designated pick up only and by appointment. We will also offer in-house shipping on firearm lots only.
