REGISTRATION: Registration is two-fold, you will need to create an account with Hibid and then request registration with our specific auction. Upon auction registration, indicate if you wish to have your items shipped. Please make sure you provide a valid ACTIVE EMAIL ADDRESS and your CREDIT CARD MATCHES YOUR SHIPPING AND HIBID ACCOUNT ADDRESS! We will only ship to the address that is on your HiBid account for fraud prevention purposes. Do not wait until the auction starts to close to register to bid. There is a verification process that may not be completed in time. Wedel Auction nor HiBid will be held responsible if a potential bidder misses an opportunity to bid.

Use of the MAX BID feature is a simple and convenient feature. After Sunday, October 26th, put in the maximum amount you are willing to bid on a lot and the computer will continue to bid up to that amount using the minimum increments allowed.

The owners reserve the right to bid, and Wedel Auction reserves the right to bid on the owner's behalf.

OPEN HOUSE: Open house is at Faithful Fans Sports, 210 Centennial Drive, McPherson, KS Friday, November 7th from 4:00-6:00 PM CST. Look for Wedel Auction signs day of Open House, come see the merchandise before you bid.

BUYERS PREMIUM: A 10% buyer's fee will be applied to your invoice total. (Example: if the total for all items purchased is $100.00 the Buyer's Premium applied will be $10.00, your total invoice is $110.00)

SALES TAX: Sales tax will be charged for customers in the state of Kansas. Out of state purchases that are picked up in person will also have to be charged sales tax. Out of state purchases that are shipped will not be charged sales tax. Any bidder that has a CURRENT AND VALID KANSAS TAX EXEMPT CERTIFICATE must email us a copy for our files at least 3 (three) business days (Monday-Friday) PRIOR to bidding in an auction so that we may arrange for tax-exemption status. PAYMENT: Credit Card on file will be charged Monday, November 10th at 8:30 AM CST. Contact us BEFORE 8:30 AM if you wish to pay with cash on pick up day (no checks). Purchases over $2,500 must be paid for with bank wire transfer or cash (no checks). We will provide guidance for this process. Bidder agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a chargeback on his/her credit card. No checks will be accepted.

SHIPPING: Shipping is a $5.00 handling per invoice and the actual USPS or UPS cost. HOWEVER, if your order is 5 boxes or more, you will incur an additional charge to cover the cost of the packaging. We will do our best to consolidate all your items during the shipping process. If you want your items shipped, please simply reply to your initial invoice email upon auction closing or contact us at troywedelauction@gmail.com or call 620-242-6999. Additionally, we will ship your items if you requested shipping upon auction registration. If we do not hear from you, we will be expecting you on pick up day.

It is the buyer�s responsibility to ensure the shipping address and payment information on their Hibid account is current and correct. We will only ship to the address associated with your Hibid and payment account for fraud prevention purposes. If you know your billing and shipping addresses do not match and you still wish to bid, please contact us BEFORE BIDDING, so we can discuss possible payment arrangements.
DUE DILIGENCE: Every effort has been made to provide the information, descriptions, and photos that best represent each item in the auction. However, accuracy is not guaranteed and each bidder is responsible for conducting their own independent due diligence concerning items of interest. Come to the Open House!

CHANGES TO AUCTION: To best respond to various circumstances during the auction, changes to specific lots, descriptions, and photos, may become necessary and occur without notice. Lots may be added, combined, or removed without notice.

SOFT CLOSING: At the designated time the auction is set to begin closing, each lot closes in sequential order. If a bid is placed on a lot within 2 minutes of its close two additional minutes will be added. If another bid is placed two more minutes are added until all "dynamic" bids have been placed.

SUCCESSFUL BIDDER: If you are the successful bidder, you are responsible to pay for the lot(s) that you have won at the price of your final bid.

ITEM PICK UP: The auction pickup day is Friday, November 14th from 12-6 PM CST. You are responsible for the pick-up and removal of all items you have purchased. You will need to present your paid invoice, either electronically or paper, at the time of pick up. If you need assistance with removal, loading, and transporting your items you need to make arrangements before you arrive. The auction company can provide very little to remove, load, or transport items. Bidder and his or her agents and employees are responsible for any damage they may cause or liability that may occur from any of their actions on or around the auction premises. Bidder agrees that any merchandise not removed by bidder by 3 days of the pickup date will be forfeited with no refunds.

TECH ISSUES: In the event of technical issues with the online bidding software, Wedel Auction reserves the right to extend a portion, or the entire auction.

Bidder agrees that this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Kansas and hereby grants sole jurisdiction and agrees to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of a court of subject matter jurisdiction located in McPherson County, Kansas. Both parties waive any right to a jury trial and hereby agree to a bench trial before a judge.
