Bid online now through Thursday, November 6th at alderferauction.com.  This auction will begin closing at 8 PM at a rate of 5 lots per minute. Active bidding will be auto-extended 3 minutes for each lot once it begins to close.

Early listings include European handwritten documents, ornithological lithographs, and hand-colored engravings presented in matted and framed groups. Additional works such as hand-colored lithographs, ornithological prints, and framed black-and-white prints and engravings reflect a strong focus on illustration and natural history. Winslow Homer wood engravings and Harper’s Weekly Civil War illustrations appear among multiple framed collections, joined by John J. Audubon and botanical prints, architectural etchings, and scenic engravings depicting landscapes, maritime scenes, and domestic views.

Artwork continues with watercolors, drawings, and mixed-media pieces, together with framed posters and photographs. A number of maps, bookplate prints, and text pages appear alongside these, many offered in groups or mounted sets. The selection reflects a wide variety of subjects ranging from wildlife and portraiture to architectural and historical imagery.
