Bid online now through Tuesday, December 9th at alderferauction.com.  This auction will begin closing at 8 PM at a rate of 5 lots per minute. Active bidding will be auto-extended 3 minutes for each lot once it begins to close.

 The auction begins with several O gauge locomotive and rolling-stock groupings, including MTH electric engines, Lionel train cars, Williams Reading engines, and Lionel steam engines with transformers. Additional O gauge entries include freight cars, passenger sets, cabooses, and mixed lots across railroads such as Amtrak, Reading, Strasburg Rail Road, Pennsylvania Railroad, Baltimore & Ohio, Santa Fe, New York Central, Western Maryland, and Union Pacific.

HO gauge material is also strongly represented, with makers such as Rivarossi, Bachmann, Walthers, AHM, Mantua, Bowser, Roundhouse, Accurail, Athearn, and others. These lots include steam and diesel locomotives, commemorative sets such as the Conrail GG1, and a variety of freight and passenger cars, kit-built models, and boxed rolling stock. Several HO collections include large mixed groups of cars, track sections, switches, and accessories suitable for expanding or constructing layouts.

Transformers, controllers, and power packs appear throughout the catalog, including Lionel units and multi-piece groupings. Layout accessories include buildings, stations, signals, crossing gates, lighted structures, tunnel portals, and bridges. Several lots consist of track collections in both O and HO gauge, including curved, straight, elevated, and specialty pieces.

Beyond trains, the auction includes a selection American Girl Dolls, other contemporary dolls, as well as artists dolls and vintage dolls. There is also an assortment of miniatures and accessories as well as diecast vehicles, including brands such as Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Johnny Lightning, Corgi, Dinky, Ertl, Tonka, and Buddy L, spanning cars, trucks, tractor-trailers, and construction vehicles. Additional toy categories include action figures, slot cars (including AFX), board games, model kits, farm sets, and vintage playsets. Books, manuals, instruction sheets, and railroading ephemera appear across several lots and provide supplementary reference material.
