AUCTION HIGHLIGHTS
KEY DATE LINCOLN CENTS
This auction includes some of the most sought-after dates in the Lincoln Cent series. The 1909-S is the undisputed key to the series with only 1.8 million struck. The 1914-D is one of the most important key dates with a mintage of just 1.2 million. Additional semi-key dates include the 1911-S, 1912-S, 1913-S, 1922-D, 1924-D, 1926-S, and the famous 1931-S with its mintage of only 866,000 coins. Early date Lincoln Cents from 1909 through 1915 are well represented in grades from Fine through Mint State.
MORGAN SILVER DOLLARS
Over 20 Morgan Dollars are offered, including the highly collectible Carson City issues. The 1878-CC represents the first year of Morgan Dollar production at the legendary Nevada mint. The 1883-CC adds another Carson City example to the offering. Philadelphia and San Francisco issues range from 1878 through 1903, with multiple coins graded MS-63 and MS-64 by consignor. Highlights include an 1887-S graded MS-63 Prooflike displaying mirror-like fields.
PEACE DOLLAR KEY DATES
The Peace Dollar selection includes genuine key dates that anchor any serious collection. The 1921 High Relief is the first year and a true key with only one million struck. The 1928 Philadelphia issue had the lowest mintage of any regular Peace Dollar at just 360,649 coins and is offered here in MS-64 grade. The 1935-S final-year issue is PCGS certified MS-64. Additional semi-keys include the 1925-S and 1934-S.
CLASSIC U.S. TYPE COINS
The auction features an impressive array of 19th and early 20th century type coins. Large Cents from 1810 through 1857 include better dates and the key final-year issue. Flying Eagle Cents from 1857 and 1858 represent this short-lived and highly collectible series. Indian Head Cents span 1857 through 1909, highlighted by an 1871 NGC Proof-63 Brown and an 1895 NGC MS-64 Brown. The scarce 1864 L on Ribbon variety is included along with Civil War era dates. An 1863 Civil War Token adds historical interest.
90 PERCENT SILVER COINS
Silver content is substantial throughout this auction. Walking Liberty Half Dollars include gems graded MS-65. Barber Half Dollars span 1896 through 1913 with multiple mint marks. Standing Liberty Quarters include the scarce 1920 PCGS AU-50. Washington Quarters feature the key 1932-D along with pre-war and wartime issues in high grades. Mercury Dimes include Full Split Bands examples. Seated Liberty coins range from Half Dimes through Half Dollars. Every 90 percent silver coin contains real silver value in addition to numismatic premium.
SILVER BULLION
Modern silver bullion rounds include a 2015 British Britannia Proof, Buffalo Indian Head design round, Bill of Rights commemorative, and Silver Trade Unit, each containing one troy ounce of .999 fine silver.
PROOF AND MINT SETS
Complete U.S. Proof Sets span 1971 through 2021, including the historically significant 1999 set with the first State Quarter proofs. Mint Sets from 1971 through 1998 offer original government packaging and uncirculated quality. The 1996 set includes the special West Point dime.
CURRENCY
Paper money offerings include an 1928-B Silver Certificate Funnyback, 1953 Red Seal Two Dollar Notes, a 1953-A Five Dollar Silver Certificate, and consecutive serial number 1976 Bicentennial Two Dollar Bills.
