Payment Due: Immediately following the close of the auction. Buyers are fully responsible for paying their invoices. Credit card payments are not charged automatically.

Buyer’s Premium: A 15% Buyer’s Premium will be added to all purchases. Items selling for over $10,000 are subject to a reduced 10% Buyer’s Premium.

Sales Tax: Location-based sales tax will be applied to all purchases.

How to Pay Your Invoice: After the auction closes, invoices will be generated, emailed, and available in your buyer account. Payment must be initiated immediately. Notify our office by phone or email with your payment method. Payments are accepted at our Galt office and at the pickup location.

Penalty: If payment is not received, Buyers authorize Huisman Auctions to charge a 25% re-listing fee to their credit card based upon their high bid amount, in addition to any applicable abandonment, storage, and disposal fees.

Removal: No shipping available. Pickup by appointment only on February 4–6, 2026, from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM (PT). All items must be removed during the designated removal period. No extensions or exceptions. Forklift assistance is available Wednesday and Thursday only.

Note: Removal dates and times are subject to change at the sole discretion of the auctioneer. Buyers will be notified of any updates via email or on the auction listing page.

Removal Authorization: If someone else is picking up your auction purchases, please CLICK HERE to complete the authorization form. This ensures we can release your items to your authorized agent.

Important Buyer & Authorized Agent Requirements: All buyers and authorized agents must present a valid photo ID upon arrival. A photo will be taken at check-in for identity verification purposes only. It will not be used for advertising.

Exemptions: Buyers with 15+ successful transactions across separate auctions, with no payment or pickup issues, may be exempt from the photo ID requirement at HAI’s discretion.

Appointments: Buyers are allowed one appointment. Additional time must be arranged onsite during the scheduled visit. Multiple bookings will be removed. Scheduling overlaps may occur due to item size and logistics. Late arrivals forfeit their appointment but may be accommodated if space allows. No-shows forfeit their items with no refunds.

Buyer Responsibility & Fees: Buyers are responsible for all removal tasks. Items not picked up by the deadline are forfeited with no refunds. Abandonment, storage and disposal fees apply. Repeated failures to pick up items may result in a permanent bidding ban from Huisman Auctions.

Abandonment fees: $25 per small item, $100 per large item.

Vehicle Abandonment fee: $500 per item.

Storage & Disposal fees: Fees are determined by the Auctioneer based on item size, quantity, and storage or disposal costs.

Removal Assistance: Buyers or their authorized agents are solely responsible for the removal of all purchased items and must bring all necessary tools, equipment, and personnel. Auction staff cannot assist with loading.

Forklift loading assistance may be provided at the sole discretion of the Auctioneer, subject to a maximum lifting capacity of 6,000 lbs. Wait times may occur. The Auctioneer assumes no liability for any damage to persons or property arising from the use of forklift assistance. Any such assistance is provided strictly as a courtesy and at the Buyer’s own risk.

• Forklift assistance is available Wednesday and Thursday only.
• Some items may have special removal requirements—refer to individual lot details for specific instructions.
• Items requiring professional rigging must be removed by the Buyer at their own expense. The Buyer is responsible for arranging, supervising, and completing removal within the specified removal period.

Buyer's Premium: There is a 15% Buyer's Premium in effect for this auction.
Disclaimers

Bidder Responsibility: It is the bidder’s responsibility to review all auction information, including dates, times, terms, and conditions. By placing a bid, bidders agree to all auction terms. If you cannot comply, do not participate. No refunds or exchanges. Bid accordingly.

Bid Verification: Huisman Auctions reserves the right to remove or block bids that cannot be verified as legitimate. If identity verification is unsuccessful after reasonable contact attempts, bids may be removed.

Condition & Inspection: All items are sold "as-is," "where-is," and "with all faults," with no warranties expressed or implied. Descriptions are based solely on visual inspection for identification purposes. No items have been tested for functionality. Items may be new, used, overstock, returns, perfect, or damaged. Bidders are responsible for inspecting items for accuracy and quality.

Removal: Buyers and their agents are responsible for verifying that all purchased items are received. No claims will be accepted once items have been removed and signed for at pickup.

Buyer Default & Abandonment: Buyers who fail to complete payment or removal by the deadline will be considered in default. Buyers who default forfeit all rights to the items and authorize Huisman Auctions to charge a 25% re-listing fee based on the high bid amount, in addition to any applicable abandonment, storage, or disposal fees. Fees are determined by the Auctioneer based on item size, quantity, and removal requirements. Defaults may result in a permanent ban from future auctions. No refunds or exceptions.

Exemptions: Resellers must upload a valid Resale Certificate to their Bidder account to qualify for a sales tax exemption. Certificates must be reviewed and approved before the auction closes to be valid. Bidders are responsible for notifying Huisman Auctions before the auction closes if they intend to use or waive the exemption.

Lots: Buyers must collect all items included in their purchased lot(s). Failure to do so may result in disposal fees and possible blacklisting.

Images: Images are for reference only and may show other items not included in the lot. Lots are sold based on the description, not the images.

Vehicle Titles and Documentation: Vehicles with a listed VIN and title origin will include title paperwork from the Seller. Title paperwork will be sent by Certified Mail within 10 business days of the auction, unless the vehicle is not removed by the stated deadline.

The Buyer is fully responsible for vehicle transfer, smog certification, registration, sales tax, and all applicable DMV fees.

Off-road, farm vehicles, and towable/special equipment without a listed VIN will not include title paperwork. The Buyer’s invoice serves as the Bill of Sale.

It is the buyer's responsibility to read and understand California's requirements concerning Diesel Fueled Engines, the following disclosure applies to all Diesel Fueled engines sold.

Any on-road heavy-duty diesel, alternative-diesel, or off-road diesel vehicle, operated in California, may be subject to the California Air Resources Board In-Use On-Road (Truck and Bus) or In-Use Off-Road Diesel Vehicle Regulations. It therefore could be subject to exhaust retrofit or accelerated turnover requirements to reduce emissions of air pollutants.
